Position
When an answer names several of the brands you track, where yours lands in that order.
What it measures
When an answer names several of the brands you track, Position is where yours lands in that order: 1 means you were named first. Your Position for a period is the average of those ranks across the answers that mention you.
The ranking covers the brands you track, you and your tracked competitors; an unrelated brand named in the same answer does not change your rank.
How it's calculated
- What counts as one
- Your rank among the tracked brands an answer names, ordered by which is named first.
- Divided by
- The answers that mention you.
- Direction
- Lower is better. 1 is best.
- Shows n/a
- When no answer in the period mentioned you.
How to read it
Answers that skip you do not enter the average, and a period with no mentions shows n/a rather than a fake rank. Lower is better.
