Why Discoverably

AI visibility tools told us what happened. None told us what to do about it.

That sentence is why Discoverably exists. We ran the scans on our own businesses and got back what everyone gets: a dashboard full of scores, and no next step. Measurement without direction. So we built the tool we could not find. Every report ends the way a useful consultant would: here is where you show up, here is who wins instead, and here is what to change.

We measure the page your customers actually see, not an API response.

Most tools ask the engines through developer APIs. It is cheaper and easier to automate. It is also not what a real person sees: the consumer products run different defaults, different search behavior, and different answer layouts than the developer versions of the same engines.

Every answer in a Discoverably report is captured from the live consumer page: the logged-out, free experience most people actually use. That costs us more per question than an API call would. It is the only measurement we would trust for our own business, so it is the only kind we sell.

One conversation with ChatGPT is not a measurement.

You can ask ChatGPT about your business right now, free. The answer will be interesting, and it will be different tomorrow. AI is non-deterministic: the same engine, asked the same question, names different businesses in a different order from one run to the next. A single answer is a sample, not a verdict.

So we treat AI visibility the way you would treat any measurement. We ask the same questions on a schedule, pinned to a country so runs are comparable, across all six engines, and let responses accumulate; roughly eight per question per engine is what we treat as a stable read. We score what comes back: whether you are mentioned, how early, with what tone, which pages the answers drew on, and how you split the mentions with the competitors you name. Then we track how those numbers move, and flag when they do.

None of this is secret access. Every answer we record is captured from the same logged-out consumer page you could open yourself. The difference is rigor: the same questions, asked enough times, across enough engines, for long enough, by software that never gets bored. Six engines times twenty-five questions times every week is a spreadsheet nobody maintains by hand.

What we track right now

We follow each engine’s consumer default. When a company changes what most people get, what we measure changes with it, automatically. We track the surface, not a pinned model.

Some engines never say which model produced an answer. We do not guess. Where a company discloses its default we can name it; where it does not, what matters is that it is the same answer your customers got.

Our methodology is public: how AI answers work explains what we measure and why, in plain English. Your first Subscription carries a 60-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel anytime. If something in a report looks wrong, tell us: we would rather correct a measurement than defend one.

Three steps to get started.

A couple of hours a month is enough to make real progress.

Enter your website.

We look up your business and the questions your customers actually ask AI.

Review what we found.

Confirm your business, your questions and your competitors. Then we ask the live apps your customers actually use: ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Copilot and Perplexity. Not the developer API, and not the model's training data. Both give a different answer from the one your customer sees.
