Sentiment
The tone of the language AI uses about your brand, scored 0 to 100 on every answer that mentions you.
What it measures
The tone of the language AI uses about your brand, scored 0 to 100 on every answer that mentions you: 0 is strongly negative, 50 is neutral or purely factual, 100 is strongly positive. Your period score is the average of those per-answer scores.
Scores of 60 and above read as positive, below 40 as negative, and the band between as neutral.
Sentiment is measured wherever you are mentioned, on any question including branded ones, and is computed the same way for every competitor you track, so tone is comparable side by side.
How it's calculated
- What counts as one
- Each answer that mentions you, scored 0 to 100.
- Divided by
- Every answer that mentions you, on any question including branded ones.
- Direction
- Higher is more positive: 60 and above reads positive, below 40 negative, the band between neutral.
- Shows n/a
- When the period has no scored mentions.
How to read it
When your mentions disagree widely with each other, at least eight scored mentions with a wide spread, we flag the period as mixed rather than letting an average hide the disagreement.
A period with no scored mentions shows n/a.
