Influence

Of the answers that drew on web sources, the percentage where one of those sources is your website.

What it measures

Of the answers that drew on web sources, the percentage where one of those sources is your website. Engines answer in two ways: from what the model already knows, with no sources, or by retrieving web pages first, which is called grounding.

Influence grades only grounded answers, so an engine answering from memory does not drag your score down.

How it's calculated

What counts as one
A grounded answer whose returned sources include one of your websites.
Divided by
Grounded answers only: answers that returned sources at all.
Direction
Higher is better.
Shows n/a
When nothing was grounded in the period.

How to read it

Being a source is different from being mentioned: your site can shape an answer that never names you, and an answer can name you without using your site. Higher is better.

If nothing was grounded in a period, Influence shows n/a, because there was nothing to grade.
